At Zelestra Germany we strive to deliver tailored solutions to ensure that our clients' energy needs are met through our diverse, multi-technology portfolio.
Zelestra in Germany is growing rapidly. As one of our key global markets, we are advancing a pipeline of more than 2 GW, with ambitions to scale it to 5 GW by the end of 2026.
With offices in Hamburg, Berlin and Rostock, and a team of more than 70 people, we are utilizing solar, battery storage, wind and green hydrogen to design solutions for our clients. We are deeply committed to serving our customers in Germany and supporting each of them in achieving their respective decarbonization goals.
Our purpose perfectly aligns with Germany’s ambitious aim to reduce emissions by 65% by 2030 and ultimately become carbon neutral by 2045.

With 25 years of international experience, Robert has a broad overview of the European energy business with a strong focus on transformation and building new businesses.
Prior to Zelestra Robert hold multiple top-management positions from start-ups to large-scale utilities.
He was CEO of The Mobilityhouse from 2019-2024. Before that, Robert was part of the E.ON group and led major businesses as the German Sales Business as CEO. From 2013 to 2016 he was CEO of E.ON Connecting Energies. In the years from 2008 to 2011 he stayed in Paris as Member of the Board of Management. Before E.ON Robert worked with Fortum and built up its German Trading and Portfolio Management in Hamburg.
He started his career in a regional utility in Germany.

Jan-Christoph KlotzChief Commercial Officer Germany

Previously led Commerz Real’s renewable-infrastructure platform as Head of Green Deal Infrastructure—overseeing transactions, developer partnerships and asset management, including work on the klimaVest impact fund. Earlier roles include M&A and investment positions at RWE/innogy, AREAM, William Blair and Commerzbank.
