At Zelestra India we are implementing an ambitious development plan, targeting over 5.5 GW of complex multi-technology renewable energy projects including 24/7 firm and dispatchable power, hybrid projects that combine solar, wind, and battery energy storage, focusing on both auction markets and corporate clients.
With a team of over 160 people, we have more than 3 GW in development, construction or operation, reflecting our commitment to driving India’s transition to clean energy and aligned with our purpose of changing the world by making decarbonization a reality.

Transformational operations leader capable of driving EBITDA optimization and portfolio value enhancement across complex multi-GW renewable energy platforms. ISO-certified Six Sigma Black Belt with 20+ years of specialized expertise in renewable energy infrastructure development and portfolio optimization. Orchestrated development and deployment of 7+ GW of utility-scale renewable energy assets across the Indian and Sri Lankan markets during his tenures in Siemens Gamesa and Bright Night. Delivered ~ 2 GW of RE projects across 8 states within a single year.
Jayakrishnan Chonat Chief Operations Officer India
17+ years in Renewable energy with roles at CleanMax (Brookfield backed), SunEdison, Siemens Gamesa, and Vestas.
