Zelestra Latam operates a vertically integrated solar, wind and BESS platform in Latin America, with a portfolio of 6.6 GW of carbon-free projects (1.8 GW contracted with customers and in operations, construction, or pre-construction stage) across Chile, Colombia and Peru.

Appointed CEO of Zelestra Latamin 2024 after 2 years as global Chief Development Officer.
Prior to joining Zelestra LatAm, spent 7 years in Zuma Energia, Mexico’s largest independent power company, creating a 1 GW renewable platform through Actis’ exit, and was appointed CEO in 2021 after SPIC acquisition.

Prior to joining Zelestra LatAm, held CFOs positions at Solek and EIG Global.
During his career he has structured over $12 billion in debt and/or equity financing.

Prior to joining Zelestra LatAm, held the position of Head of Business Development Colombia, Peru and Central America at ENEL, where she developed +1.5 GW of solar and wind projects.

Prior to joining Zelestra LatAm, spent 7 years in AES in several Latam geographies with a focus on growth and risk management, selling more than 2 GW of projects through long term PPAs

Prior to joining Zelestra LatAm, worked as Legal Counsel in Engie, Transmisora Eléctricadel Norte and AES. She as Corporate and M&A experience in Cariola, Diez, Pérez-Cotapos.

Fabian has 25 years of experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, and sustainability. He has led the implementation of over 1.5 GW in solar energy and negotiated contracts worth more than USD 700 million. With a career spanning Chile, Brazil, and Mexico, he stands out for his strategic leadership, technological innovation, and team management. He is a Civil Engineer, holds an MBA in Global Management, and an MSc in Business Administration.

Over 20 years of experience leading strategic projects in energy, the environment, and public policy. He has held executive positions in government agencies and companies such as Innergex and Energía Llaima. Recognized for his leadership in corporate sustainability, project management, and community engagement, he has established himself as a key figure in the energy transition in Latin America.

Renewable energy specialist with over 12 years of international experience in power generation, focusing on solar, wind, hydroelectric, and energy storage technologies. Holds an MEng in Energy Systems from Cranfield University and an MBA from the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management. Has held leadership roles at TotalEnergies, Potentia Renewables, and Atria Energía. Currently serves as Country Director at Zelestra, where he leads the development of more than 1.3 GW of sustainable energy infrastructure across Peru.

Civil Engineer from the National University of Colombia with an MBA from EAFIT, and specializations in Energy Projects and Environmental Management. He has over 13 years of experience in Colombia’s power sector, with 1,000+ MW developed, 498 MW at NTP, and 326 MW in commercial operation. Currently Country Director at Zelestra, he recently led the commissioning of the 245 MW La Unión and La Mata solar projects and manages a development portfolio exceeding 500 MW.
