Living the Employee Value Proposition at Zelestra: How I Bring Our Beliefs to Life

The EVP (Employee Value Proposition) is the promise the company makes to all employees, and it’s the mindset we bring every day to our work.
Hi, I’m Patricia, Corporate Talent Management Director at Zelestra. Over the past year, I’ve had the chance to work on projects that shape how people experience our culture and grow within the company. One of the most meaningful has been defining our Employee Value Proposition (EVP). When we designed it, we knew it had to be more than just a slogan - it needed to reflect who we are and how we work. It was critical that we produced a concept with real depth and purpose. It’s the promise the company makes to all employees, and it’s the mindset we bring every day to our work.
For me, it’s about how we collaborate with each other, the beliefs we hold, and the values we stand for. It’s not aspirational it’s real, and it’s part of how we grow together.
At Zelestra, our EVP is a lived experience. Grow with purpose. Belong with heart. Lead with care. These words guide how we work, connect, and evolve. But they don’t come to life through posters or presentations, they’re made real every day by people like me and my colleagues across the world.

For me, this means paying attention to every detail, speaking up when something’s not right, and doing my best. I take ownership of my work and outcomes, and if something isn’t working, I don’t pass it on I fix it. And when I need help, I ask. We all want to get it right, and that starts with owning our part.
- Leave Your Mark in the World We’re more than a business, we have a purpose to make decarbonization a reality. That bigger mission motivates me every day, knowing the work I do contributes to a positive impact beyond just the job.
Whether it’s solving a problem, guiding someone through a process, or supporting someone’s development. It’s about making a difference. This reflects Zelestra’s core beliefs: we work tirelessly to do things right, take ownership of everything we do, push ourselves and our clients further, get results that matter, and work together to achieve great things.
What I love most about my role is contributing to others’ growth and development.
A few months ago, I put together a development initiative for a group of leaders at Zelestra. When it wrapped up, several participants reached out to tell me how valuable it had been for them and how they planned to apply what they’d learned. Moments like that remind me of why I chose this line of work. It reinforces the value of investing in people and it is a clear sign that we’re contributing to people's growth. That’s something I really care about. It’s not just about individual growth; it’s about driving better outcomes across the organization.
Most importantly, I believe in the power of the team. At Zelestra, when we hit our goals, it’s because we’ve worked together to succeed, and when we miss targets, we learn together. I support my colleagues, share knowledge, and lift others up in tough moments. That kind of collaboration leads to better decisions and stronger outcomes. That’s how we all thrive.
